The Future - Haseeb Patail (The Future) was born July 25, 1990 in Buffalo, New York. His parents moved the family to West Los Angeles and then moved to the suburbs. Rancho Cucamonga is the city where Patail was raised. The first school he attended was in Rancho and he made many friends at his schools. In the third grade, he read a poem in class. The rhymes he read sounded very intriguing as they came out his mouth. Very shortly after, Haseeb started to write lyrics to rap songs. Haseeb grew more interested in rap and started listening to mainstream and commercial rap. At the ball courts in his elementary school, he met Derrick Rodgers (Sargent D) who became his best friend and partner in music. They banded together and started making music together in junior high school. The sounds that they created were not very arousing to many, so they practiced and waited patiently to get the right equipment. Now in 9th grade, Haseeb is focusing on his school work to get into college and he is also focusing on his musical career as an emcee. Rodgers is also an emcee. The two are currently working on a 15 track solo cd for the future. The album will be dropped October 1, 2005. Privately distributed by their Self-Produced label, Underfoot Records.

Sargent D - Derrick Rodgers (Sargent D) was born January 16, 1990 in Upland California. He was born in upland and was raised in Rancho Cucamonga were he has lived all his life. He met many friends during elementary school and in about second grade he came together with Haseeb (The Future ). Haseeb had a passion in poetry and began to write lyrics to songs and recite them all the time. Derrick would laugh at him and tell him hes not black so he cant rap. Derrick now finds that very ironic because Haseeb(The Future) has become a better emcee than him. Derrick's main interest is basketball, but Haseeb got him into wanting to make music around the 6th grade. Derrick currently is becoming a well known basketball player at Los Osos High School and focusing on his grades while he also focuses on helpingThe Future with his 15 track solo album set to release October 1, 2005. Rodgers has passion for rhyming but you can tell that his heart is really towards producing and getting the name Underfoot Records out across the world and known. He knows this will be a long journey but he is willing to take the time an effort along with Patail to make this happen. They have given each other their word and they both remember that your word is something you can give and still keep. |
